Mooring & Navigation studies

We can assess the behavior of one, two, or more units connected side-by-side (mooring), or one unit connected to the seabed (anchoring), or any combination. It includes effect of passing vessel.

Berths Repair/Rehabilitation

Due to the aging and weather factors, berths require regular maintenance, such as replacing old piles, timber finders, marine ladders, rubber fenders, and deck slabs.

We designed many floating berths for fuel supply purpose in small harbors. The floating berth is either concrete or built-up frame/floaters type. Both should be moored to seabed through mooring pile and sliding guide frame.

Harbors & Marinas Planning

ECC-TRUST completed some marinas as shown below. The marina design and services depends on its type like pleasure marina, coast guard marina, Marine Firefights department, and Oil&Gas supporting marinas. ECC-TRUST has experience almost on all these types.

Shore Protection

Shore protection needs extensive metocean data collection, historical bathymetry data, Seabed samples, and sometimes SBD images. Numerical Models for HD, WAVES, and Morphology are the main tools for this type of work. We used Submerged detached breakwater, Groins, and Revetments with or without sand nourishment depending on the project different conditions.

Berths/Jetties/Trestles

We completed design of a Jetty and trestle for EXXONMOBIL Co. in PortSaid Port, Egypt. The purpose is to export and import industrial base oil. Trestle and Jetty were designed for PortSaid shipyard- A trestle and dolphins were designed for MILAHA shipyard, Qatar. Other trestle was designed as a walkway for Kuwait’s Towers beach area.

Breakwaters and Revetments

ECC-TRUST completed some remarkable harbor projects. It includes Oil supporting harbor, Naval Base harbor and Logistic harbor. Breakwaters and revetment were planned for these harbors in addition to different harbors elements. Breakwater and Revetments also employed in shore protection projects.
